Leave my shit ALONE!

May 1, 2006

I don't own a hell of alot, but what I have…..please don't mess with it!!!

Last night, once again, the vandals were out doing their thing.  The Bastard Junior looked out the window and see a pickup truck parked parallell to his Explorer, shining a flash light in the window.  They see the light from his room when he opened the curtain and off they go.

We call the police.  While waiting for them we go out into the yard.  The neighbor across the street has seen them also.  And the NERVE of this asshole….he comes back lights off and parks down the street.  When he sees us in the yard he makes a U-turn and takes off again.

It is bad enough that these people mess with our vehicles, but last night was different.  To keep from making a lot of noise while opening the gate, they pushed the back fence almost over.  BJ (Bastard Junior) was able to get it somewhat erect, but it is f**ked up bad.

Of course the police were not able to find the vandals.  Only once have they caught the culprits.

It is time to either move or renew my target practicing skills……I'm pretty damn good with a pistol.  What kind should I get?  I'm partial to the 9mm Ruger.  That should get their attention…………………

An oldie….like me

Someone forwarded me this joke…..I still love it!

A woman came home, screeching her car into the driveway, and ran into  the house. She slammed the door and shouted at the top of her lungs, "Honey, pack your bags. I won the damn lottery!" The husband said, "Oh my God! What should I pack, beach stuff or mountain stuff?" "Doesn't matter," she said. "Just get the hell out."

I've done that without winning the lottery. 😀

I’m off to Albuquerque

April 19, 2006

My son in law, Greg, is picking me up from the airport in the morning in my new Corvette.  Alas, don't you all feel sorry for me.  😀

Its past midnight and I'm wide awake.  Laundry, packing, planning.  Four glorious days with my kids and granddaughter.

Now this trip does not mean that you won't see a new post in that time.  It simply means it will be written from a different location.

To my friends, family and….special people, I say…..love you bunches and see you later.

I never thought I’d see the day…….

Today I went, with a group of people from churches all over our fair city, to an abortion clinic.  We prayed for the souls of the babies that died there today.  On my name badge I wore a picture of Noah, my great grandson and his mother.  And was reminded of when I drove them there.  Thank you God, for this beautiful child, whom without your intervention would have been a victim.  Thank you Ashley, for your courage to have this baby and raise him.  And Carmel for being the loving supportive Mom and Grandmother that you are….you'll always be mine.

I cannot judge anyone.  I only know in the instance of Noah…I am so eternally grateful.

kicked to the curb – again

As everyone knows, the words "lasting relationships" are not in my vocabulary.  At least not linked together.  But today takes the cake.  My dentist has ended our weekly meetings that have only been going on since December 12.  He dropped my dental insurance plan – and I'm not done.  waaaaaaaaaaa

Oh well, on to bigger and better dentists.
